Alexandra Louka
Alexandra Louka graduated from the Department of Biological Applications and Technology in the University of Ioannina, Greece, from where she obtained her BSc in applied Biology and Biotechnology. During the 5th year of her studies she performed her diploma thesis in the laboratory of Biological chemistry, Medical school, at the same University. Her diploma thesis was focused on the structural‑functional characterization of the inner nuclear membrane protein, LBR, and its interaction with the Heterochromatin protein 1 (HP1). During her studies she developed an interest in Biochemistry, Molecular and Structural Biology. She has been appointed by GiottoBiotech group within the IDPbyNMR project.
