Anna Lovrics
Anna Lovrics graduated with distinction as a chemist at the Eötvös University (ELTE ) in Budapest, Hungary, with a master thesis about modelling the budding yeast cell cycle. She went on to do a PhD at the University of Nottingham (UoN), with a thesis on mathematical modelling of genetic regulatory networks in osteogenesis. After the completion of her PhD, she was involved in a research project at UoN of modelling gene regulation during tomato ripening and analysing transcriptomic and metabolic data sets. Anna has a solid background in chemistry and during the course of her postgraduate research project she has also learnt different approaches in mathematical modelling of biological systems. She has been appointed by BIO within the IDPbyNMR project.
